What is Sugaring?
Professional Sugaring is a safe, gentle and effective hair removal method. It is a paste made of all natural sugar, lemon and water, and applied to your skin at room temperature. The heat from your body warms the sugar paste, and it melts into your pores to stick to the hair under the skin. When the paste is removed, the sugar, which is a natural exfoliant, removes any dead skin cells as it cleans out the the pore and hair follicle. This leaves smooth, clean, exfoliated skin.
Advantages of Sugaring
- Eliminates hair breakage – the hair slides out of the follicle instead of being ripped out against the direction of its growth as in waxing or threading.
- Reduces discomfort – sugaring does not require high heat like wax – it is used at room temperature. Clients report that sugaring is virtually painless.

- Short hair is not a problem. We start when hair is 1/8″ long, but after a few sessions, sugaring will remove hair even 1/16″ long.
